Dog and Cat Pencil Sharpeners

Well this one is a little odd. I guess it doesn't bother him too much as he lets out a little woof woof as the penicl is being sharpened. Good idea, strange though. Check them out.

LG Reveal Cell Phone

I finally updated my cell phone, not because I wanted to but because my other half put mine through the washing machine. I am pretty impressed with my new LG Reveal so far. It's light, easy to learn and the buttons are just about right for texting and entering in all of my old phone numbers. The battery went down pretty quick but I think it's because I had a bubble on the front page showing useless news all day. So far the only thing I have to complain about is that I can't get weather for my city to display. It thinks I am somewhere an hour away. It picked up my bluetooth voice pretty quick as well and have had no problems to speak of.

Here are the specs:

LG Reveal (660) features:

  • Full QWERTY Keyboard
  • Camera (2.0 Mega Pixel)
  • Camcorder
  • Windows Live Messenger
  • Picture Messaging

  • Expandable Memory (8GB)
  • Full Track Music Downloads
  • MP3 Player

  • A2DP (stereo headset)
  • HF (hands free)
  • HS (headset-mono)
  • FTP (file transfer)
  • DUN (dial-up Network)
  • OPP (object push profile)

In the box: Phone, Standard Battery, AC Adapter, and Quick Reference Guide

EggBeep Timer

How many of you are extremely particular about how your eggs are cooked? Well, with the BeepEgg timer, you can’t really go wrong as it not only cooks your eggs to perfection, it does so in an entertaining manner. Depending on the beeping and various melodies played, it will indicate various levels of hardness. For example, folks who want soft eggs will stop when they hear ‘Killing Me Softly’, but for those who prefer medium, ‘I Wish I Was a Hen’ would be where the bus stops. The beeping will begin once the water touches approximately 45 degrees Celsius, and you can pick one up for $19.95.

USB Rechargeable UFO Speaker

I recently purchased a little speaker set for my portable Sirius radio but it doesn't look as cool as this one. It's not going to blow you out of the water with sound but what do you want for a little speaker that you can carry along with you pretty much anywhere you go.

The on/off switch has a blue LED power indicator. It comes with a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery and it will work with any type of MP3 player as well as your computer. The top hatch opens up, either for looks or to allow the speaker to transmit sound a bit better, they don’t actually explain that part. You can purchase the speaker for $15.

    Internet Clock Radio

The one thing I am missing from around my computer area is a decent clock radio. If I hadoneI wouldn't be up at 4 in the morning blogging away about gadgets and such. Here is a simple internet clock radio. The Internet Clock Radio needs the basic free version of a RealPlayer plugin but othwerwise it's good to go.
